Summer Herb Class: June 21, 2025

Our seasonal herb classes are a wonderful way to learn more about specific herbs and their uses. Each class focuses on a handful of specific plants that are in their prime during that season. We will discuss natural history, how to grow/cultivate/forage, how to harvest, and how to use each particular herb. We will also cover the most effective preparations of these herbs.

If purchasing a ticket for yourself and some one else, in the notes at checkout, please put the full names of each person for which you are purchasing a ticket.

Please plan to wear appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes for walking around a working farm. We will spend most of the time walking around the farm. There is a bathroom on site for guest use, but it requires going up a flight of stairs. This class takes place on a working farm, with animals, and medicinal herb crops. Please plan to dress accordingly for the weather the day of the course.

Please, no pets. We have our own animals and a working farm dog and for the safety of our animals and your pet we cannot allow outside animals. Task trained service animals are welcome, we just ask that you contact us prior to attending the class so we can make accommodations.

We understand that things come up, folks get sick, etc. If you are going to miss the class, please contact us via email at info@wildasterfarm.com at least 1 week before the scheduled class date to cancel and receive a refund.

If cancellations are made after this time frame, we cannot offer a refund, but may be able to apply your fee to a future class.

Weather Policy:
This class will take place in most mild weather conditions. If the weather is exceptionally bad (hard rain or extreme weather conditions), we may need to cancel. If we cancel due to weather, participants will receive a full refund. We may also be able to reschedule the class. If the class is rescheduled due to weather, we will offer you the opportunity to attend the new date or receive a full refund.
